Shantanu once represented India in sailing at an Asian regatta.

Mr Aaron Chiew is the Head of Mobile & Digital at UOB, Singapore. He is responsible for the Mobile and Digital business strategy and proposition for UOB Personal Financial Services across the region, and led the team that launched the award winning UOB Mighty app in 2015. He heads a team of innovative Product Managers and Designers focused on re-defining the way UOB customers experience the bank through their mobile and digital devices. Aaron also works closely with group of dedicated developers and business analysts, and firmly believes that digital development is best done through an intimate collaboration between business and technology. He is also a strong advocate of ‘Mobile-First’.

Prior to joining UOB, Aaron was the Group Head for Digital Banking at Standard Chartered Bank, and was heavily involved in the bank’s online and mobile transformation.

Aaron started off his career in the finance industry at DBS Bank more than 10 years ago, after gaining valuable experience at online companies such as Yahoo Asia. Having been in both the business and technology space, he is well versed with the issues and challenges in both industries.

Aaron holds an Economics degree from the National University of Singapore.

Simon Tate

Simon is a 20-year IT veteran with rich experience across a variety of business development and leadership roles in Asia Pacific. He has served on a number of advisory boards with technology companies in early stage funding, and holds copyright over the Professional 6© Risk Management Methodology, now used by an estimated 5,000+ B2B sales people globally. 

Simon was born in Australia, grew up in South Africa and Zimbabwe, before completing his tertiary studies back in Australia - graduating in Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney. He has recently returned from Singapore and now lives in Sydney with his wife and two children. 

Before joining Adobe, Simon worked with companies such as NetComm, Gateway Computers, Hummingbird/Opentext, Dell EMC, SAP, and Salesforce. The three values Simon has firmly anchored himself to through his career are: Fun, Family and Freedom. He considers himself a Rugby ‘tragic’, a motorsport aficionado, and loves a day out boating with friends and family.

Simon Dale

Managing Director, South East Asia

A respected leader in the industry, Simon has over three decades of professional experience in the technology sector, including eighteen years in Asia Pacific. His career has spanned development, sales management and executive leadership at both start-ups and large corporations. Most recently, Simon held senior roles at MapR and SAP where he established and scaled new businesses across the region, and gained deep and practical understanding of the software and cloud services business.

Simon currently sits on the advisory board of the Nanyang Polytechnic School of IT, and is an active mentor and angel investor in multiple start-ups. He is also a mentor and coach to early talent through Mentorshub.

Simon graduated from Middlesex University with a Master’s Degree in Sales Management and Sales Transformation, and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computing Science from Staffordshire University. He has also attended a Management Development Program at INSEAD, and is currently a student of the Singapore Management University SID-SMU Directorship Program. 

Nikki Muller

TV Presenter & Host

Nikki Muller landed her first TV job when she was 15 years old, hosting MTV@Mbassy across Asia. She co-hosted Studio Disney on Disney Channel and at 20, was nominated as “Best Entertainment Presenter” at the Asian Television Awards. She’s since been nominated and Highly Commended twice in the same category.

Nikki’s hosted the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix, LIVE across the track and the former Fox Sports Asia presenter is proud of covering various F1 and MOTOGP races across the region as well as the most prestigious tennis tournament, The Championships, Wimbledon. The opening and closing ceremonies of the 28th South East Asian Games were a cracker to host, as was the WTA Finals in Singapore where she broadcasted LIVE around the world. Nikki is in her element when entertaining crowds at Marvel Studios events, sharing the stage with the likes of Robert Downey Jr. and Samuel L. Jackson.

Aalishaan Zaidi

Daniel Binns
